Our drums are designed to recreate the quality and appearance of times past,
while using modern technology to insure premium quality sound and durability so
our customers can use and enjoy their drums for many future seasons.
We also offer an assortment of carefully selected accessories
which we as re-enactors ourselves have found helpful.
Information & Specifications
Shells:
Available in 5- or 6- ply maple, built up from the inside with an
overlapping veneer so there is no through-seam. The entire shell is
of uniform strength for the highest quality sound available. If you
desire an authentic overlap shell, we can accommodate you.
Hoops:
Our hoops are made of oak, built for greater strength. The holes
are drilled at an angle for easier rope slide-through.
Strainers:
There are several styles of strainers available; the J-hook style, which
pulls up on the side of the drum, and the Lever style, which pulls the gut
straight out across the head. Click here

Snare Gut:
Heavyweight individual strands or lighter-weight continuous roll. Click here

Drum Heads:
Remo-coated, Remo Fiberskyn 3, calf skin. Click here

Rope:
Standard 1/4" or 5/16" spun Dacron or linen rope.

Painting & Finishing:
Any color or finish is available, from high-gloss lacquer to a satin-oil
finish.
Ears:
Our drum ears are available in a round-edged design (for 18th-century
style drums), or in tab style and square style for 19th-century
drums. Colors are: black, dark brown, natural or white.

Artwork:
We can hand-paint custom artwork or you can choose a traditional
design. We can also do a tack design.
Drum Dimensions:
We have standard-size drum shells, such as 14"x12",
16"x14", 16"x16" and 17"x17" for snare drums
and 22"x14" and 24"x14" for bass drums. If a
custom size is required, we can accommodate you whenever possible.

Shipping:
The cost for shipping drums is approximately $10-$20 in the continental
United States, including insurance. Please call us for a quote on
shipments to international destinations.
Warranty:
All drums are warrantied for five (5) years against any manufacturing
defects. Specific details are available upon request.
